Crunchy is a robo-dog.

Biography[]

Crunchy lives with the family of Kay Byte, a Beauty Consultant. Recently, the apartment block where they live caught fire, trapping Crunchy and his/her owners in their upper-story home. However, Heroes from the Hero Factory were summoned, and they were able to rescue the family and Crunchy.

Crunchy was built entirely from pieces found in Hero Factory sets 7147 XPlode and 7156 Corroder from 2010.

Trivia[]

The Crunchy model was designed by webmaster Kelly McKiernan to appear in a series of Prototype Photography Tips on HeroFactory.com.
It is possible that the Crunchy from Prototype Photography Tips and the Crunchy from Kay Byte’s testimonial are not the one and the same because the Crunchy in Prototype Photography Tips does not look like a dog (more like a bird), despite looking like it can stand on four limbs, and it talks. While the Crunchy from the testimonial is technically canon, the Crunchy from Prototype Photography Tips is not because it was never described and was only used as an example of a Hero Factory creation Prototype Photography Tips.
